This adobe home was over 100 years old. While much of the renovation involved stripping back and removing poorly constructed additions, the most significant modifications were the addition of a new kitchen and bathroom within the existing adobe footprint. All contemporary modifications used new materials like steel and plywood to distinguish old and new.

All historic elements of the house were carefully preserved. Features were repaired and re-plastered to ensure their integrity, blending seamlessly with the home’s storied history while supporting its long-term durability.
